Roster- La rgely Monday to Friday day role, with evening and weekend hours as functions required.
Role Overview:
- Responsible for building events, as well as executing
- Would suit a junior events coordinator looking for growth and increased autonomy
- Working across 2 magnificent sites, with a massive variety of functions
- Plan and execute all aspects of events, including venue selection, vendor management, catering, and entertainment.
- Develop event timelines, schedules, and agendas, ensuring all logistical details are accounted for.
- Oversee event setup, on-site coordination, and post-event breakdown to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and attendees, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
Key Attributes required for the position:
- Experience both building and executing events
- Confident in your own skills, able to demonstrate tangible experience to client stakeholders
- Developing and maintaining strong and effective client relationships.
- Able to build financially stable events that meed targets
- A strong Workplace Health and Safety and Compliance focus
- Managing staff turnover and effective recruitment
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
The Ideal Applicant will have:
- 2 years experience in the events field
- Previous experience working with premium client groups
- A strong sense of quality control and an eye for detail
- Professionalism and accountability along with personal values aligned with Care, Pride and Community
