About the role:

An exciting opportunity awaits you at Box Hill Institute as the Literacy and Numeracy Skills Coordinator. In this role, you will lead the design, development, delivery, and evaluation of innovative vocational education and training for BHI students and clients. Your responsibilities will include managing teaching and business aspects to ensure top-quality training delivery and engaging employees. Success in this position will drive team performance, student achievement, compliance, and growth opportunities. As part of the leadership team, you will contribute to the Foundation Education College, offering pathways to further education and employment.

Note: This is a full-time, fixed-term role until March 2025, requiring 38 hours per week and including teaching duties.

About You:

  • AQF7 or above qualification in Adult Language and/or Numeracy and Literacy teaching
  • Diploma-level teacher training with practical experience
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher in Adult Education. VIT Registration desirable
  • Experience in program planning, standard setting, and knowledge transfer
  • Proven track record in managing and motivating teaching teams
  • Demonstrated experience in leading quality teaching programs
  • Client-focused with a drive for continuous improvement
