About the Opportunity
Our client is a highly successful, Australian owned business that has been in operation for over 40 years.
Growing through acquisition, they now employ over 450 people nationally, specializing in the fabrication and manufacture of products that include doors, vision panels, bollards and gates that are supplied to the domestic, commercial, industrial and high security clients.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Yardperson to become an integral team member to their operation Monday to Friday 6.00am 2.
- Reporting to the production manager your general duties of this position include but not limited to:
- Receive, inspect and store incoming materials and products.
- Organise and maintain inventory in the stores and yard.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials using forklifts and other equipment.
- Prepare orders for delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Delivery of manufactured products to site for install
- Keep the yard and stores area, clean, safe and organized
- Assist with general duties as requested by the Production Manager
Qualifications & Experience
- HR Licence with 2+ years' experience
- Hold a valid forklift licence
- Previous experience in a yard role essential.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
