Project Overview

The project's goal is to enhance understanding of the effects of policies on health and well-being, both intended and unintended. It seeks innovation through new techniques and unique data integration for timely policy evaluation to prevent harm. Additionally, it utilizes technology to monitor policy impacts in real-time. Anticipated outcomes include fresh insights, improved policy structures through innovative methods and cross-disciplinary approaches. About You

As a Research Assistant, your role involves research aligned with the University's research strategy. The position expects independent work as skills and expertise progress.

We seek research assistants with a background in econometrics and an interest or experience in Machine Learning for causal analysis.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Understanding of Econometrics modeling for causal analysis
  • Machine learning skills for causal inference
  • Prior research involvement
  • Experience with Australian administrative data

Qualifications

Qualifications in economics or data science.
