Are you a Midwife searching for a new opportunity to progress in your career?

Our Midwifery Unit is in need of skilled midwives for a temporary contract to help address staffing shortages in regional South West Victoria.

We operate as a low-risk level 2 birthing facility, with approximately 60-80 births annually. However, we frequently cater to outpatients who are deemed too high risk for birthing at our facility.

Our team consists of 8 Midwives, 1 Obstetrician, and 1 Paediatrician. We work various shifts (morning, late, night) and are also required to be on-call for births. During each shift, only one Midwife is scheduled, leading to considerable independent work. If additional support is needed, the on-call Midwife is called in.

Rates:
- Weekday: $98.92 per hour
- Saturday: $174.91 per hour
- Sunday: $179.84 per hour

Essential Criteria:
- Fetal heart rate monitoring (FSEP or K2 or equivalent)
- Obstetric Emergency Training
- BLS Certification
- Neonatal Resus Certification
