We are currently seeking cleaners to join the team at our Woomera facility for starting immediately.


This is a casual role working a 14:7 roster to undertake deep cleaning activities on site in accordance with the daily, periodical and emergency cleaning programs whist ensuring that all HSE requirements are being satisfied.

Accommodation is inclusive and payiong a great hourly rate.

THE ROLE

  • Enhance the appearance of the building environment and Defence.
  • Ensure that a hygienic, clean and tidy working environment is provided to all personnel within Defence facilities.
  • Deep clean all buildings and accomodations as required, making beds, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning of toilets, bathrooms, kitchens.
WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR
THE ROLE?

  • Ability to work in a face paced and demanding work environment.
  • Flexibility to work at different facilities in Woomera.
  • Able to take direction and use own initiative.
  • Team oriented and self motivator. Experience is preffered but if you love cleaning this role is for you.
Woomera is a town of historical significance owned and managed by the Australian Government, Department of Defence.

Woomera is located approximately 500 km Northwest of Adelaide and supports a major military and civil aerospace facility, the Woomera Test Range.

Ventia plays a key role as an industry partner offering a range of support services to Defence operations in this unique and strategically important location.

Located just 45 minutes' drive South of Roxby Downs, 2 hours drive North of Port Augusta and 2.5 hours drive North of Whyalla, working in Woomera gives you the opportunity to explore this vast and beautiful arid landscape.
