Job Requirements:

  • Australian citizen or has Right to Work in Australia (_must_)
  • Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support or above (_must_)
  • Cert IV in Mental Health (_preferred_)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (_must_)
  • First Aid Certificate HLTAID011 or HLTAID012 (_must_)
  • CPR Certificate HLTAID009 (_must_)
  • P2 or Full Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle (_preferred_)
  • Comprehensive car insurance (_preferred_)

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Disability Support Worker
  • Experience working in SIL house (_must_)
  • Experience assisting complex clients with behavioural issues

Other certifications:

  • Manual Handling Certificate (_or willing to obtain_)
  • Medication Certificate (highly desirable)
  • Basic Food Handling Certificate (_or willing to obtain_)
  • Experience with Infection Control & Waste Management

Schedule:
Ongoing shift, 24/7 roster, 6-8 hours shift, Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Sleepover
