The Opportunity:


As a Payroll Officer, your role is to provide support to the Refractories accounting and administration team and assist with weekly payroll processing, reimbursements, letters of employment and other accounts functions.

Based in Kilburn, this is a permanent full-time role which offers plenty of hands-on training and development.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Assist with end to end processing of weekly payroll
  • Ensure base rates and allowances are paid in accordance with relevant EBA and agreements
  • Ensure all timesheets are received, reviewed and processed in SAP
  • Process leave forms for daily hire employees
  • Prepare weekly journals for payroll cost transfers
  • Process reimbursement as required
  • Coordinate with administration officers in other states

What you'll need to be successful:

  • General administration experience within an payroll/accounting environment
  • Previous experience using Excel or Google Sheet
  • Knowledge of EBAs
  • SAP experience (desirable)
