Australian household name going through a period of growth are partnering with Talent to engage Front-End Lead with a strong background in IT/Banking/Investment area to support their on-going projects.

They are looking for a Front-End Lead who would like to move into a technical hands on leadership position. This developer will be contributing to a large range of works using Java, Chronicle, Kafka, JavaScript/TypeScript (React and ).

The key requirements for the role are:

  • 8-10 years' experience in Software Development
  • Strong frontend development skills and experience with Java, JavaScript/TypeScript (React & Next.
JS)

  • Deep knowledge of principles and design patterns
  • Experience in design and development of lean WebAPI modules, webhooks and/or websockets, realtime data transfer
  • Experience with AWS with particular focus on CloudFormation.
  • Strong understanding of Github / Gitflow, CodeDeploy
  • Experience working in a Fintech startup, investment, or banking sector.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills as well as the ability to cope with highpressure situations.
  • Analytical and critical thinking to identify the root cause and solve incidents and ongoing problems.
  • A team player with influencing ability
