Full Job DescriptionHOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
Working as a key member of the team, the aim of this position is to:
- Be accountable for the thorough analysis of individual companies and their equities within the Healthcare sector, including publishing reports, making sales calls, and promoting investment opinions
- Create regular reports summarizing discoveries and forecasts, manage sector news flow, and contribute to overall sector perspectives
- Build financial models, interpret data, and analyze market, economic, and political events
- Cultivate strong relationships, engage regularly with the Equities sales force and traders, clients, and corporate management
- Offer guidance and mentorship to junior team members to enhance their technical and interpersonal skills
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FORQUALIFICATIONS
- Preferably a minimum of 6 years of equity research experience focusing on healthcare sector stocks
- PhD, Masters/Bachelors in Biology or Medical degree or Economics/Finance/Accounting, and CFA qualification is preferred
- Solid grasp of the ANZ Healthcare sector and macro economy
- Strong writing and verbal communication abilities
- Essential modeling skills and a strong foundation in accounting and financial principles
- Keen analytical thinker and communicator
- Ability to adapt promptly to changing environments is essential
- Strong business mindset and proficiency in client marketing and relationship management
- Demonstrated time management and prioritization abilities are desirable
