Clinical Support Specialist/ Qualified Health Information Manager

We are looking for an experienced individual to join the team at 3M Health Information Systems (HIS) division. You will play a key role in our team's growth and our foray into the development of computer-assisted coding products. This role is ideal for a motivated, determined professional with a genuine drive for achieving outcomes.

This role will encompass:

  • Contribution to the development of HIS products for the Australian health sector as part of a collaborative team
  • Travel within Australia as needed

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Health Information Management
  • Substantial and recent experience with ICD10AM (including 12th Edition) and the AR-DRG Grouper
  • Proficient ICD10-AM auditing abilities
  • Knowledge of hospital coding and auditing procedures
  • Familiarity with Clinical Documentation Improvement processes
  • Competence in conducting group presentations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365
  • Preferably based in Sydney, but remote candidates will be considered
