ESSENTIAL WORKER ROLE

APG are looking for people to work within our client's poultry (chicken and turkey) processing factory, working in the front end on a fast-paced production line.

You will need to be suitably qualified for this

halal certified slaughterman position, preferably experienced in a similar role and meet the below selection criteria:

  • Hard working and 100% reliable for this key position
  • No birds, chickens, or pigs at home
  • Own car and driver's licence
  • Flexible for shift work and early morning starts 4.00am, Monday to Friday on a weekly roster including overtime in peak periods weekends and public holidays if required
  • Achieve client's daily production targets
  • Be fit and healthy for labour intensive/manual handling work this position is very physically demanding
  • Capable of fast, heavy lifting and comfortable working around live birds in dirty areas
  • Be able to stand for long periods of time, up to 10hour shifts
  • Available for an immediate start
