The Role:


This role is responsible for providing clerical and booking duties to assist in the smooth running and management of the respiratory function laboratory.


The Respiratory Clerk supports the Northern Health Respiratory Unit with the coordination and booking of testing for both lung function and fit testing, distribution of appointments including reminders and result correspondence.

The Respiratory Team is a dynamic, growing multidisciplinary team. We value people who work hard and go above and beyond for patients and their colleagues.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Competence in the use of computer and software products, particularly word processing and databases
  • Be highly motivated and reliable with strong time management skills
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport
  • Have high level of professionalism, integrity and sensitivity to confidentiality and privacy
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and achieve team objectives and results within set timeframes
  • Experience in a healthcare environment
