Additional Information:

  • This role is temporary full time (fixed term contract until November 2025)

About this work area
As Inventory Controller your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Support and contribute by producing the right insights into stock levels and stock quality in all fulfilment units.
  • Analyse stock development in all the units to secure optimal and accurate stock levels.
  • Conduct follow up on stock level to identify opportunities and make recommendations to fulfilment units and key stake holders.
  • Contribute to optimise operational and omnichannel development with stock levels and quality across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders such as Business Risk & Compliance, Product Quality, Business Navigators, and Instore Logistics to localise Global Standard Operating Procedures and secure optimal fulfilment for IKEA Australia market conditions.
  • Actively engage and cooperate with Sales Supply & Support, Instore Logistics, Logistics Commercial Support Manager and Distribution Centre to secure the Fulfilment Availability, stock structure and Stock accuracy agenda.

As Inventory Controller you are:

  • Passionate about stock accuracy and good stock structure to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Able to analyse data, communicate findings and opportunities for improvement in a simplified way to stakeholders.
  • Abe to plan, organise, monitor and adapt processes to support improvement strategies.
  • Confident in making sound recommendations on inventory, stock accuracy and planning.
  • Able to build strong stakeholder relationships to drive the Fulfilment Availability & Support agenda and secure optimal stock levels and quality for the business to meet customer needs.
