The objectives of this role are:

Assist with HSE management plan actions involving employee awareness of risks and to reduce, avoid and protect employees from hazards in the workplace, including occupational illness or disease. Assists in the implementation of programs to maintain and improve the general health and safety of all employees

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.

Knowledge, skills and experience:

Demonstrate balance of industrial experience at relevant level and position Intellectually capable, can substantiate the ability to apply theory in a particular context Professional demeanour, interpersonal skills Able to demonstrate team working skills Enthusiastic, conscientious and keen to learn Flexible with a can-do attitude Mobile and willing to spend time away from office location as and when operation requires

Demonstrably practice company core values and compliance with Ethics Policy Interact with team members in a positive and professional manner at all time Competent in the execution of standards, processes and procedures to effect delivery of functional excellence Competent in own discipline to provide support to the business Demonstrate current knowledge with industry and technology development within discipline area Demonstrate continual professional development Competent in knowledge of regulatory framework and associated legislation Communication in written and spoken forms Requires a Graduate HSE Officer who is enthusiastic, engaging and trustworthy Demonstrates technical knowledge and the ability to influence and challenge others to behave in ways consistent with the interest of the organisation Identifies the primary task in each team situation and maintains clear focus to achieve results Demonstrates sound, fact-based decision making, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, clients and contractors to help achieve goals

Understand changing trends and developments, responds to client issues and organisational capabilities and to develop the optimal responses as directed by the HSE Manager
