  • We currently have a fulltime opportunity within our People & Culture team in talent acquisition._
  • Ongoing fulltime opportunity, working 35 hours per week
  • Parramatta location with flexible and hybrid working options available
  • Clerk Grade 7/8. Base salary $106,025 to $117,363 p.a. plus superannuation and annual leave loading

About us
NSW Trustee & Guardian protects, promotes and supports the rights, dignity, choices and wishes of the people of NSW.

The agency supports the Chief Executive Officer and the Public Guardian to provide customer-centred services to the people of NSW, including some of the state's most vulnerable.

We do this by providing a range of multidisciplinary services including Will-making, estate planning, executorship, trustee, financial management and guardianship services.


We write more than 13,000 estate planning documents each year, support over 49,000 customers annually and manage over seven billion dollars in customer assets.

A NSW government agency within the Stronger Communities Cluster, our services help support and protect people at critical moments in their lives.


About the team


The Strategy, People and Governance division provides a wide range of enabling services including audit, risk and compliance, ministerial and external relations, people and culture, and policy services.


About the role
The Talent Acquisition Advisor provides expert consultancy and advisory services across recruitment, role design, talent acquisition, selection and onboarding. The advisor also supports the lifecycle of the employee, ensuring effective onboarding and offboarding.

This is an exciting opportunity that will see you:

  • establish effective partnerships with hiring managers across NSW Trustee & Guardian
- manage the end-to-end recruitment process and providing fit-for-purpose assessment strategies
- provide coaching and support to hiring managers on legislative compliance

About you

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex talent issues and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment while balancing competing priorities.
  • Capable of operating with minimum supervision and meeting challenging timeframes.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Proactive, creative, and capable of thinking outside the box.

Essential requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in recruitment, selection, and talent acquisition.
  • Extensive experience in recruitment and knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, and legislation.
  • Demonstrated working experience and skills with HR Systems and/or Recruitment management systems.
