The Opportunity


The Service Delivery Officer will be responsible for enhancing the student and staff experience by supporting a range of strategic and operational activities and business improvement projects and initiatives.

Reporting to the Manager Service Delivery, the Service Delivery officer will provide support and assistance across Commercial Services and ISD activities.

In particular, the position will have specific responsibility for designing visual communication assets from concept to end primarily for Commercial Services but also for ISD more widely.

The position will also provide support for space planning activities.

These responsibilities include undertaking space readiness assessments, assisting with the coordination of space utilisation surveys and the collection, collation, storage, and reporting of space-related data for the university to enable more effective decision making.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Prepare effective visual communication assets to effectively communicate with and to the university community and key stakeholders' changes in business process, successful project outcomes and educational assets to assist with embedding process change.
  • Ensure that all designs are visually appealing, accurate and aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Support the development, design and delivery of major stakeholder engagement activities aimed at promoting stakeholder awareness of and access to ISD services and activities.
  • Provide highlevel administrative support in the service delivery of a range of contracted campus services.
  • Provide administrative support for project meetings, groups, and committees.
  • Administer the collection, collation, storage of spacerelated data for the university

This will include:

  • Collating data for reporting and benchmarking to the Tertiary Education Facilities Management Association (TEFMA) and other agencies.
  • Assisting the Senior Space Planning Officer in monitoring the university's space allocations and readiness by undertaking physical inspections and space surveys.
  • Coordinate space utilisation surveys and collate results.

Your Application

  • A degree in a relevant discipline with experience and visual communication expertise or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Capacity to prepare high quality communication material in digital and other formats for diverse audiences.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing experience in typography and layout design.
  • Excellent organisational skills including the ability to prioritise and complete tasks with accuracy and attention to detail, manage conflicting demands, and meet strict deadlines at an individual and team level.

Remuneration


Appointment to this role will be at HEO 5 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $96,794 comprising base salary within the range of $74,080 to $82,730 plus 17% superannuation.
