About this opportunity


As the Victorian Government looks to invest $1.85 billion in 100 Next Generation Trams (NGT), we are looking for a project officer who is passionate about project administration and support.


A typical week in this role involves:

  • Coordinating administration activities for the NGT Project team including document control, timesheeting correspondence management and supporting project reporting as required
  • Ensuring that Yarra Trams meets its contract and Franchise agreement timeframes to maintain and demonstrate Document Control Arrangements, Records Management, Regulatory Compliance and Process Control
  • Maintain and update relevant document registers on Excel and Sharepoint ensuring revisions, dates and other document references are correct and in alignment with States program
  • Facilitate and coordinate register of responses as required from across Yarra Trams functions to requests from third parties
  • Develop and maintain NGT Share point collaboration website and distribution lists
  • Assist with the preparation of templates, reports, letters and other documentation as required by Management and the NGT Project team

About you

Ideally you will have:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar administration role
  • Desirable experience in Maximo
  • Experience with MS Sharepoint
  • Experience with MS Office
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to meet project timelines.
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to engage with the team
  • Experience in Rolling Stock, construction or public transport project environment
  • Proven record with compliance, traceability and auditing
  • Understanding and awareness of occupational health, safety and environmental issues in the workplace
