Internship: Structural & Mechanical

Interns work directly with our experienced engineers in support of our business units. The internship is 15 weeks.
Internship Focus:
Structural & Mechanical Engineering – Projects may involve aspects of applied mechanical/structural engineering including design, analysis and test of mechanical systems, propulsion systems, and structures.
Required Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and have at least one semester or quarter of school remaining after the internship. Completed at least one year of full-time coursework post high school graduation at the time of application (obtained sophomore standing). Available to work full time for a minimum of 15 weeks while not concurrently enrolled in coursework. Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills. Passion for space.Desired: If you have any experience with the following, please be sure to include it on your resume.
Relevant internship/co-op and academic project experience that demonstrates development of both technical skills as well as leadership qualities. Hands-on project experience. Experience with data processing. Experience with thermofluids. Experience with combustion.When you apply, be sure to include your internship, co-curricular and research experience in your resume. Please also include the relevant tools, programming languages, or processes you have utilized in these settings. If you haven't yet used a tool in a professional setting, please include relevant coursework that demonstrates your preparation for these roles.
