Join Our Night Shift Team as a Process Worker

We are currently seeking dedicated Night Shift Process Workers to join our team located at Tullamarine.

In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the achievement of our production plan while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, cost-effectiveness, and environmental responsibility.

Your primary responsibility will be to operate machinery and perform necessary tasks to manufacture our products, while also maintaining a clean and well-maintained production area.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently operate the production line, following standard procedures.
  • Maintain a focus on safety at all times, promptly reporting any potential issues to the Production Team Leader.
  • Complete all safety checks associated with your assigned tasks.
  • Ensure products are manufactured according to the production order.
  • Conduct quality checks as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Immediately report any quality issues or abnormal spoilage to the Production Team Leader.
  • Accurately record all production and quality data.
  • Perform daily equipment and area cleaning activities as required.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy production area at all times.
  • Attend and actively contribute to regular team meetings.
  • Assemble products when necessary.
  • Foster a teamwork approach in all activities.
  • Take on alternate duties during any downtime.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance both the workplace and the achievement of production goals.

Job Specific Requirements:

  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Familiarity with quality measuring and testing procedures.
  • Understanding of standard setup procedures.
  • Ability to comprehend and record production orders accurately.
  • Knowledge of Lean philosophies.
  • Focus on cost, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Understanding of product, process, and their relationships.

Job Types:

Salary:
$24.77 per hour
