About us:
We are looking for a full time Graduate Veterinarian to join our team at The Aberfoyle Hub Veterinary Clinic, located in the southern hills-face zone suburb of Aberfoyle Park - a fantastic location whatever your interests. Leafy and green, with wineries, National Parks, Flinders University and Medical Centre, beaches and Westfield Marion all within 15 minutes' drive, and just 20km from the city, it is a great place to live and work.
Hub Vets is a relationship-based clinic, and has been providing caring, family-friendly veterinary services at the highest level to companion animals and their owners since 1999. We come to work to do what we enjoy doing – making a difference to the lives of animals and the people who care for them. We value each other and our relationships, we are excited by all things new and doing a better job, and we like a fun, friendly and supportive place to work.
About the Program:
As part of the VetPartners network, you get to enjoy the following as part of our Graduate Academy program starting in 2025:
- Comprehensive 12-Month Program: Structured with both internal and external support.
- Mentorship and Clinical Practice: Spend 2 days a week at one of our network clinics with a dedicated mentor for the first 3-6 months, transitioning to a full-time role at HubVets.
- Personalised Mentorship: Benefit from 1:1 mentorship, guiding you from your first vaccination consult to handling complex cases.
- Specialty Surgery Exposure: Opportunities to visit other clinics to observe and assist in specialty surgeries.
- Graduate Academy Inclusion: Be part of the renowned VetPartners Graduate Academy.
- Collaborative Environment: Work alongside other graduates in a supportive team setting.
- Professional Practice: Gain experience in a respected veterinary clinic, learning from senior veterinarians and demonstrate professional practice
- Well-being Focus: Participate in regular mental health and resilience training sessions and events.
- Continuous Learning: Access to Veterinary Training Centres, workshops, CPD allowance, and study leave.

The Program at a glance:
We've designed this program to give graduates, like yourself, the clinical knowledge and training needed to pursue your career aspirations, in an encouraging environment:
- Development program combining hands-on clinical experience with formal training opportunities
- Guaranteed attendance at practical workshops including abdominal surgery and dentistry, among others
- Support by a dedicated external Veterinary mentor, Graduate Program Manager and in-clinic mentor to provide guidance and constructive feedback.
- The practical training will be supplemented with formal learning and specific clinical courses (webinars and clinical conferences)
- Our in-house mentorship program and CPD opportunities are designed specifically for new and recent veterinary graduates
