We are on the lookout for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our state-of-the-art Distribution Center in Kemps Creek. Working alongside our Warehouse Manager, you will need strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate the daily pick, pack, and dispatch operations of our warehouse. Leading by example, you will be ready to assist with warehouse tasks to ensure daily objectives are met. While a current forklift license is advantageous, it is not a requirement.

Full-time role with 38 hours per week and potential overtime during peak seasons.

Requirements for Success

  • Support the Warehouse Manager in overseeing the fulfillment center
  • Coach team members to enhance productivity and quality standards by providing regular feedback
  • Motivate the team to achieve KPIs and assess performance levels
  • Set an example by prioritizing Work Health Safety standards
  • Offer supervision to team members and address any issues during shifts
  • Conduct daily briefings to ensure daily goals are met
  • Accurately complete end-of-shift reports
  • Execute end-of-day tasks such as housekeeping for smooth shift transitions
  • Report and document performance or safety-related issues for managerial review
  • Handle picking, packing, labeling, recording, and dispatching tasks
  • Manage inventory through receipting, sorting, organizing, and storage
  • Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles
  • Conduct cycle counting and inventory checks when necessary

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Team Leader in a Warehouse setting
  • Demonstrated leadership and management abilities, including managing pick/pack teams
  • Understanding of Inventory Management Principles and Practices
  • Familiarity with General Warehouse Practices and Warehouse Management Systems
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Experience with RF Scanners is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency with manual and basic power tools
  • Qualifications in Warehousing/Logistics are beneficial
