Our client based in Clayton are a leading provider of sustainable solutions and focus on livability & functionality of urban environments across the country.

They are currently seeking a Permanent Full-Time Maintenance Handyperson to join their team. If you have previous experience as Handyperson, Groundmen or Carpenter this may be the role for you

For this role it will be based in Clayton, however you will be working all throughout South East Melbourne Metro - you will get a company car.

The shift time for this role will be Monday to Friday 6am - 2.30pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patching and plastering walls
  • Performing adhoc painting tasks
  • Installing bollards and sheds
  • Repairing door frames, hinges, and replacing doorknobs
  • Utilising hand and power tools for various maintenance tasks
  • Conducting general building and retail maintenance
  • Providing quotes for small works
  • Assisting with furniture moving
  • Conducting basic carpentry, plastering, and minor painting repairs
  • Repairing window furnishings
  • Ensuring vehicles are clean, tidy, and regularly maintained
  • Maintaining tools and small plant items to mechanical and presentation standards
  • Recording and reporting job and time sheets promptly
  • Purchasing necessary supplies
  • Keeping maintenance records for all equipment

About you:

  • Previous Maintenance Handyperson experience is a must (ideally 3 years experience)
  • Previous Carpentry experience is advantageous
  • Current Victorian (or Australian Equivalent) Drivers License
  • Must be confident with hand & power tools
  • Good communication skills (reading and writing)
  • Must be physically fit and comfortable - lifting up to 15kgs
  • Must be available to work 5 days a week
