You will also deliver one day of manual handling in a fully equipped training room.

The position is based in Gosnells and West Perth with some travel required and is casual one-two days a week with the potential to grow into a full-time role.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver quality training and assessment in both
  CHCCOM005 Communicate and Work in Health or Community Services and HLTWHS002 Follow Safe Work Practices for Direct Client Care

Deliver a 1-day course on Conducting Manual tasks Safely
:

• Prepare, deliver, mark and assess all aspects of training and unit delivery.
• Complete all administrative tasks related to the program's delivery.
• Undertake workplace assessments of students.
• Monitor and document students' attendance and course progress.
• Participation in moderation and validation processes.
• Provide appropriate written and verbal reports to students to ensure they can complete their units within the timeframe.
• Ensure that all participants feel welcome, comfortable and part of the class.

Selection Criteria

Essential

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116).
• Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33015).
• Working with Children Check.
• National Police Clearance.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, without direct supervision.

Desirable

• First Aid Certificate.
• Experience delivering and assessing CHCCOM005 and HLTWHS00
  Have experience delivering HLTWHS005 Conducting Manual Tasks Safely.
