About the position:

We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our dynamic cafe team.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Previous experience in culinary roles such as cook or chef.
  • Precision in following recipes.
  • Efficient time management during peak hours.
  • Maintaining high levels of cleanliness and adhering to sanitation protocols.
  • Handling various tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
  • Collaborating with kitchen colleagues effectively.
  • Clear communication of orders and instructions within the kitchen team.
  • Understanding and meeting customer preferences.
  • Familiarity with cost control, inventory management, and budgeting.
  • Creation of diverse and attractive menus.
  • Knowledge of food safety and kitchen safety measures.
  • Minimum working hours of 38 hours per week, with flexibility for a rotating schedule including weekends and public holidays.

  • Certificate III or Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery, with a preference for 2 years of experience (not mandatory).
  • A Diploma in Hospitality and a minimum of 2 years of experience (optional).

** If lacking formal qualifications, a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience must be demonstrated.

All prerequisites listed above are necessary for application.

A competitive salary range of $70,000 to $80,000 will be provided to successful candidates. (Negotiable based on qualifications)
