About the role:

We are Estia Health have a brand new role open for a Senior Technical Test Analyst to join our fast paced and innovative team. This role is primarily responsible planning, automating (where applicable) and executing testing across Estia Health projects and internal development activities.

Some of what you'll be doing:

  • Review specifications and work with project and technology teams to design risk-based test strategies and test plans that ensure all relevant testing types are covered (functional, usability, integration, regression, etc). Manage test case traceability.
  • Identify opportunities to automate testing, create automated testing scripts and/or work with third parties to create automation.
  • Execute tests according to test plans, raise defects and work with project and technology teams to resolve defects.
  • Establish and maintain test tools, templates, processes and standards that are consistent and repeatable, including standard testing reports for communication of testing results.
  • Establish and maintain a central repository for test plans and test scripts for each system

The background that will make you a success in this role:

  • Ability to articulate and define test approach; estimate duration and execute test cases and scenarios across the solution lifecycle, including functional, usability, integration, regression)
  • Ability to analyse and translate business requirements and functional specification into testing requirements
  • Ability to write clear status reports quickly and concisely and collaborate with Vendors and IT teams to get issues resolved .
  • Must be a problem solver capable of triaging issues
  • Sound knowledge of testing principles, methodologies, and best practice test management tools and processes
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Outcome driven
  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in IT as a test analyst or IT support analyst\software developer with 2+ years in testing and QA.
