My client is a market-leading online business who are focused on the financial services industry.

With their technology at the heart of what they do, they offer their staff the chance to work on innovative & complex projects.


As they continue to invest in their people & technology as a means of maintaining a lead over the competition, they are now looking for a skilled Automation specialist ( SQL, Automation of Analytical processes) to join their sizable Analytics function & work with different BU's to optimise their Analytical frameworks.


This role would suit someone who enjoys continuous improvement (CI) & has a good blend of commercial & technical smarts.

You will to drive the review of existing processes & the subsequent delivery of automation across various Analytics teams within the business.


The role will combine both existing & newly proposed analytical processes & I am looking for someone to champion automation as a part of a wider CI philosophy.

The role will be varied & in this role you will engage with a plethora of different Analytical teams (e.g. Marketing, Sales, Finance et al).

In terms of essential skills/experience i am looking for;
Proven us of SQL for optimisation & automation of manual processes.

Experience working in a data driven business in a Data/Analytics/Insights related business unit.


The ability to deliver against ( at times ) tight time constraints & work with a degree of urgency when required.

A pragmatic, commercially minded approach when dealing with data-related projects.


Competency dealing with stakeholders, non Analytical professionals within the business, the ability to engage & build relationships within the business.


Bonus tech skills would include R & Python but if you have really strong SQL then training in this will be provided.
