This position requires a cleaner to clean up to 8 hours per week, across two venues in Malaga, between the hours of 10.30am and 2.30pm x 2 days per week (days are flexible but cannot be consecutive).

To ensure the venue/s of West Coast Gymnasts are kept clean and tidy

Status
Casual

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Cleaning:

  • Adhere to all Codes of Conduct, club policies and procedures, guidelines, safety rules and bylaws.
  • Ensure that the venue/s are kept clean and tidy on a weekly basis, including but not limited to:
a. Vacuuming and mopping of floors.
b. Cleaning of mirrors and glass surfaces.
c. Bathroom facilities are scrubbed, disinfected and wiped down.
d. Bins are emptied, cleaned and bags are replaced.
e. Kitchen facilities are cleaned, dishes are washed and dried, sinks wiped down.
f. Kettles, microwaves and other white goods are cleaned inside and out.

  • Keep good stock levels of hand towels, toilet paper and other paper goods.
  • Purchase vacuum bags and steam mop heads when required (at the club's expense).

Communication & Liaison:

  • Complete the Cleaning Checklist on a weekly basis and submit to the Operations Manager.
  • Advise when stock levels of cleaning products are running low, or equipment supplies need replacing.
  • Ensure you keep the club's management informed and updated of any information that may affect your position.
  • Be professional in and accept responsibility for your actions.
  • Notify the Club's Operations Manager of any issues and report any hazards.
  • Act in a responsible and appropriate manner at all times in accordance with the Club's Code of Conduct, ethics and best practice.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION

ESSENTIAL QUALITIES:

  • Hold a valid WA Working with Children Card
  • Ability to be able to meet the physical demands of cleaning, moving equipment and carrying cleaning products
  • The ability to be able to effectively communicate with staff and maintain confidentiality
