    About the Role


SEE Group have a great career opportunity available for an experienced Earthworks Supervisor (or Foreman) to join our highly professional and skilled Urban Development team.


  • This is a diverse and fastpaced role that'll see you managing the production of earthworks packages across multiple projects whilst also producing high quality work that is consistent with the standard's set forth in the project's contract documents, in a timely and costeffective manner to meet projects agreed construction program. In this fulltime position, you can expect to work on projects across based in Logan and Ipswich.
    Responsibilities will include
  • Responsible and accountable for the effective programming of daily site works in accordance with the construction program, including any adjustments as they arise. Responsible for project compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and standards.
  • Responsible and accountable for the coordination of employees, subcontractors, plant and equipment required for the projects. Provide advice, support and assistance to project staff in relation to any technical and/or complex problems that may arise during project life.
  • Monitor subcontractors on a continual basis with a view to ensuring compliance with HSEQ requirements.
  • Responsible for the overall financial performance of the projects.
  • Manage relevant personnel throughout their employment lifecycle including, selection, training and development, evaluation, performance management and termination of employment.
  • Ensure projects are adequately resourced with personnel of the required skills and experience
  • Manage activities on site, controlling costs and productivity to meet financial objectives of the projects.
  • Work closely with the project teams on costing changes to the project scope and/or pricing of variations to ensure the project meets financial goals.

Essential Skills and Attributes

  • Background in Plant Operation, Construction and Delivery processes.
  • Proven management skills, practices and planning ability.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and maintaining focus on priorities.
  • Highly effective skills in negotiating, evaluating and administering contracts, specifications, Australian standards.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
  • Knowledge of Engineering principles and experience in actual project delivery.
  • Highly effective planning, organising and problemsolving skills together with the ability to lead, motivate and influence others.
