Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and assistance to individuals with disabilities in their daily activities, promoting independence and enhancing their quality of life.
  • Assist with personal care tasks, including grooming, bathing, toileting, and dressing.
  • Support individuals with their medication administration and health management under supervision.
  • Help individuals with household tasks, such as cleaning, cooking, and shopping.
  • Engage individuals in recreational activities and community outings, fostering social connections and personal growth.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of services provided and any significant observations or incidents.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in disability support work or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with individuals with disabilities and their families.
  • Empathy, patience, and the ability to adapt to the needs and preferences of individuals.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities to lead fulfilling lives.
  • Must be eligible to work in Australia.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
  • Evenings: 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Note:
Flexibility to work additional shifts or alternate hours may be required on occasion.
