What you'll do
As a Fitter you will be primarily accountable for:

• Servicing, component change-outs and repairs to our Locomotive Fleet
• Overhaul of locomotives, components and various other plant and equipment
• Pipework and air system troubleshooting, repairs, refurbishment &

installations

• Maintaining maintenance program

records in accordance with our Rail
Safety Management System requirements and relevant Engineering
Standards

What you'll bring
As a successful applicant you will be trade qualified and have skills & experience in

the following:

• Maintenance knowledge and experience from a heavy engineering industry
• Automotive and heavy vehicle work experience will be highly regarded
• Experience in a rail related field is preferred but not essential, heavy

- equipment maintainers are encouraged to apply

• Demonstrate a working knowledge of WHS legislation and risk standards
• Ability to work unsupervised as part of a team when required
• Excellent interpersonal, time management and organisational skills are

- essential

• Effective problemsolving skills, a positive attitude and be keen to contribute

to continuous improvement to meet our reliability, availability and safety
standards

with drug and alcohol screening
