This is an exciting opportunity to join a close-knit boutique firm of 5 as their next Senior Accountant. If you have strong written and verbal communication, enjoy face to face client interaction, have extensive payroll knowledge and are ready to jump into your next career opportunity look no further.

The Company:
Our client has a friendly and easy-going approach to work. They prioritise company culture, WFH flexibility and enjoy collaborating in their co-working office space. Their clients are varied and come from the construction, health, marketing and professional services industries.

The Opportunity
They are on the lookout for an experienced Intermediate to Senior Accountant. This role will see you regularly interacting with clients, preparing financials and providing support to junior staff.

Day to day

  • Provide end-to-end business services to a range of clients
  • Liaise with clients and attend client meetings
  • Financial planning
  • Providing payroll tax support
  • Revision of work completed by junior accountants

About You:

  • A minimum of 4-5 years' experience in public practice
  • CA/CPA qualification or very close to completion
  • Degree qualified
  • Proficient in Div 7a, CGT and payroll tax
  • Experience in reviewing work prepared by junior accountants
  • Warm, friendly and approachable personality
