Communications Rigger

Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a Telecommunications Rigger - Team Lead to join our Linkforce Communications team.

Standard working hours are between Monday to Friday from 6.30am to 5.00pm, however it is common for frequent over-time and based out of our Forrestfield workshop, this position ensures that projects are completed to Linkforce Communications and our client's requirements.

THE ROLE

As a Rigging Team Lead you will be responsible for providing onsite leadership to your team, ensuring that your projects are completed safely, on-time and to a high quality.

• Complete understanding and interpretation of drawing packages associated with telecommunications projects
• Completing 5G Upgrade projects throughout WA while adhering to carrier specifications, standards and HSEQ guidelines
• Construct, assemble, erect and overall installation of Lattice Towers, Guyed Masts, and Monopoles
• Installation and upgrades of microwave antenna systems and associated feeder cables
• Installation and Commissioning of a variety of mobiles RF equipment (Antenna's, Combiners, RRU's etc)
• Identification, Investigation and Rectification of faults in wireless telecommunications systems
• Complete understanding of Client HOP documentation of works
• Adhering to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards

ABOUT YOU

• Experience working for all major network carriers with preferably a minimum of 5 years working Telecommunications
• At least 2 years working as a Team Lead
• High Risk Work Licence
• Rigger Advanced and EWP
• Construction White Card
• Working at Heights
• RF / EME Awareness
• Ladsaf
• First Aid, CPR and Tower Rescue Certificates
• A current Australian Drivers Licence
• Civils experience desirable
• HR License desirable
