We are searching for a Civil Engineer to join our Albany team as part of our expansion to support clients in the Great Southern region. This full-time position will see you taking the lead on various projects, collaborating with clients and consultants. The role is diverse, involving work across multiple sectors such as transport, land development, property, ports, marine, and asset auditing. You will also have the opportunity to establish a valuable network within the Great Southern Region of Western Australia.

Key responsibilities:
  • Design, documentation, and site inspections for projects like roads, drainage works, civil infrastructure, essential services, land development, and property civil works.
  • Acting as the main contact person for civil projects in the office.
  • Engaging with clients, fostering client relationships, and preparing proposals.
  • Taking charge of project design and documentation.
  • Coordinating with clients, fellow consultants, internal engineers, senior civil designers, and draftspersons for project documentation.
  • Conducting site inspections to ensure contractors comply with project specifications.

About you:
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented with the ability to thrive in a dynamic setting.
  • Essential skills and experience:
  • Prior experience in an engineering consultancy.
  • Advantageous to have experience in the Great Southern or similar regional areas.
  • Experience in transport, land development, property, ports, marine, and asset auditing will be highly valued.
  • 5+ years of relevant consulting experience.
  • Strong grasp of construction methods and health and safety practices.
  • Degree in Engineering.
