We are now seeking a Principal - Asset Systems & Compliance - to join our Brisbane head office to provide technical support in the management of our Core Asset Management system, compliance framework and asset documents. Reporting to the Manager - Asset Operations Support, you will have a keen understanding of both technical systems and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development, management and support of Master Data Management, Power BI reporting, Asset Reliability reporting and asset availability reporting
• Enforce user training and direct operational support
• Ownership and maintenance of core asset documentation
• Management, alignment and auditing of BUMA Management Systems with ISO55001
• Minor plant procurement, hire and management support
• New asset introduction lead and support
• Ensure BUMA complies with all asset requirements, including regulatory, client and internal requirements
• Ensure BUMA complies with government guidelines eg RS, MDG
• Develop, implement and maintain asset related SOPs, procedures and statutory documents

About You:

• Tertiary qualifications in the Maintenance Engineering stream (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics etc)
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Engineering or Maintenance related roles
• Previous mine site experience is preferred
• Strong computer literacy is essential, including Microsoft Office suite and CMMS System (ideally SAP)
• Proficiency in managing and configuring complex systems, preferably in Asset Management or Compliance domains
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks, such as ISO standards, Coal Mining Regulations, and industry best practices
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Proven project management capabilities, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing priorities, and drive projects to successful completion
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy, quality, and compliance excellence
• Positive influencer with the ability to engage with people from multiple disciplines
