At Catholic Early EdCare, we understand all parents' desires to witness their children's growth. We achieve this by integrating the most recent early education research and methods into our programs, fostering spaces where children can connect, develop, and explore. Joining our team offers you the advantages of being part of a network of over 130 Catholic Early EdCare services in South East Queensland and being associated with the Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane.

Currently, we are looking for an Educator (Children's Services Employee) to join us on a permanent, part-time basis at St. Kevin's Outside School Hours Care in Benowa.

As an Educator at our center, you will report to the Coordinator. We seek an enthusiastic and dynamic individual who is dedicated to supporting primary school-aged children in their growth, development, learning, and enjoyment in a secure and joyful environment.

We are in search of spirited educators who are enthusiastic about guiding primary school-aged children towards growth and development, fostering their learning and enjoyment in a safe and cheerful setting.

A day in the life of an OSHC Educator...

  • Providing a nurturing haven where every child feels valued and cherished.
  • Creating a safe and warm environment.
  • Designing enjoyable recreational and educational activities that are inclusive for everyone.
  • Fostering a culture of teamwork, building positive relationships with colleagues.
  • Having the chance to participate in exciting excursions during vacation care.

Job Requirements:

  • Must hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
  • Hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (or working towards it), or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines (desirable but not essential).
  • Possess a strong passion for educating and caring for school-aged children in a play-based environment.
