Graduate Planner

Job Summary

:

As a Graduate Project Controls Planner at Bechtel, you will assist in supporting cost estimating, analysis, and control activities and schedule development, maintenance, reporting, and monitoring activities, as directed. This is a FIFO position working 3:1 roster based in Karratha, WA. #LI-RH1

Major Responsibilities:

Assists in identifying the scope associated with schedule activities, as directed. Gathers appropriate information that defines general work requirements for a performing organization and unit. Prepares broad activity logic and any required interfaces between activities on schedules. Prepares durations for schedule activities within a discipline or specialty, as directed. Gathers and organizes appropriate quantity and workforce information for an assigned discipline or specialty. Assists in routine quantity/workforce loading in support of discipline or specialty work logic. Other responsibilities as designated.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Recent graduate with a Bachelor of Process, Metallurgical, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Construction Management. Prior internship experience in relevant construction fields

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel &/or Power BI tools. Basic understanding of technical processes, interpretation of engineering drawings, and project management practices associated with engineering and construction projects. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated teamwork skills. Demonstrated levels of initiative and engagement via positions of leadership in academic, sports and/or extracurricular activities. Successful completion of site medical (fit for work) examination.
