People are at the heart of our success, and we have a current opportunity for a PMO Coordinator to play a key role in a centralised IT Programs team, ensuring program governance, transparency and accountability of project activities.

This is a permanent position based in our Alexandria, Sydney HQ, with flexible, hybrid work options available.

You'll take us further by:

  • Enabling centralised management of project activities, governance, reporting and monitoring.
  • Undertake project stagegate review process, project health checks and audits, providing recommendations for ongoing improvements
  • Continuously refine Project Delivery processes; identifying, developing, and implementing improvements to project reporting and monitoring processes and procedures.
  • Streamline project/portfolio reporting and financials
  • Assist with project resource management across the department.
  • Assist in the creation of material to train new and existing IT project team members in Ampol project best practice
  • Work with leadership to understand business priorities and facilitate demand planning processes to consolidate and report on new initiatives
  • Report on portfolio level risk to ensure that cross project risks are identified, tracked, and reported.
  • Ensure consistent project progress updates from PM's/IT Leads to assist with monitoring of progress against agreed outcomes

About You:

  • Proven work experience and track record as a Project Coordinator or similar role
  • Experience in large and complex working environment
  • Experience with project management systems, tools and processes
  • Project reporting capabilities, ideally with experience of utilizing tools such as Power BI
  • Welldeveloped organisational skills and the capacity to be flexible in balancing priorities to meet/exceed customer needs. Ability to deliver results on deadlines.
  • Excellent networking and relationship management skills
