Lending Specialist

• We have dual head offices in Toowoomba and Adelaide, and 95 branches across South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and the Northern Territory, trading under two brands, Heritage Bank and People's Choice.
• Working with us at Heritage Bank as a Lending Specialist, you will be responsible for helping our members achieve their financial goals like first home purchases and beyond

What you'll be doing

• Hold quality conversations with members to determine how Heritage is able to assist with their financial goals
• Have flexibility to conduct Mortgage lending appointments with existing and potential members
• Execute business development plans in relation to member acquisition
• Support and coach other Heritage employees with lending knowledge and community engagement

Here's what you can do for us
We are looking for team members who are driven by achieving positive customer outcomes. You must be a confident communicator, be digitally savvy and able to quickly grasp new systems.

You will have a natural ability to ask lots of questions and build connections, a self-starter with demonstrated understanding of mortgage loan products and broader personal banking products with recent experience in a similar in-branch role.

You will have a strong desire to gain a holistic understanding of a member and their needs and clearly articulate what the best solution is and why, whilst never losing sight of the details.

You will enjoy working with stakeholders across our business and be passionate about quality lending in a changing work environment.
