About Training Services NSW

Training Services NSW leads and manages the implementation of funded vocational education and training programs and services across the NSW training market including contracting and funding providers, quality assurance, leading reforms and administering apprenticeships and traineeships and Aboriginal programs.


About the role

The Benefits Analyst is responsible for monitoring, evaluating and reporting on the evaluation framework specific to the Education Wallet program (EWP), where they relate to adoption of the Learner Passport in schools.

Essential requirements of the role

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant performance reporting experience, preferably within an ICT or school's environment.

Desirable:

  • Experience in the design and creation of benefits forecasting reports.
  • Experience with online survey tools and/or analysing the results of qualitative research.

Key knowledge and experience

  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing performance reporting frameworks in a complex ICT environment.
  • Ability to synthesize a wide range of inputs to understand and gather evidence that monitors progress against KPIs and tracks realisation of benefits.
  • Ability to communicate and present complex data sets to diverse audiences.
