Job description

Inhouse care:

Supporting the participants to increase daily living and personal care skills to increase independent which entails dishes, washing, cooking, cleaning etc.

in the house.

Taking participants to appointments to doctors, physio etc.

Taking participants to do shopping and how to shop economically.

Helping participants to reach their goals.

Help access activities of the participants choice and engage with supports to access communities and activities.


Helping participants with showering and if any participants have medication to take check that they are taking the right medication at the right time.

If a participant is in a wheelchair, please make sure you know how to use it correctly.

CARE

Our Caring Hearts has roles available working participants with disability, families, children and young people in caring roles both within family homes and in respite. If you are thinking about working with families, children and young people understand the social and emotional development of this age group, then this may be the job for you.

SUPPORT
Support is generally carried out within a home environment.

You would be required to assist with daily personal activities, respite, household tasks, physical well being, assistance with school or other education programs and social activities.
