As a Specialised Cardiac Physiologist with Advara Heart Care, you will undertake best practice delivery of a wide range of echocardiography procedures.


Our echocardiography services Include both outpatient & inpatient transthoracic echocardiography, exercise stress echocardiography, dobutamine stress echocardiography & assisting with transoesophageal echocardiography & contrast studies.

Once a week we also provide an adult congenital heart disease echo service.

We also provided echocardiography support for our structural intervention team. These procedures include trans-aortic valve implantation (TAVI), PFO & ASD Closures & LAA appendage closures. We are soon to begin a Mitral Clip program.


Your will report directly to the Lead Specialist Cardiac Physiologist for echocardiography & work close with our team of cardiologists.

The role will also involve a range of other support functions assigned by the clinical services manager for the effective operation of the clinical services unit.

The role also offers a generous physical wellbeing allowance and conference/education allowance as well as a competitive renumeration package. Fulltime, part time & casual opportunities available

Who you are:

  • You have a Post graduate qualification in the field of cardiac ultrasound
  • A current registration with Australasian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR)
- ound clinical skills in the field of echocardiography

  • You have the ability and willingness to take direction from more experienced Cardiac Physiologists and a management team
  • Excellent interpersonal & patient care skills with the ability to show a friendly and professional approach
- committed to continuous learning and staying at the forefront of developments in cardiac ultrasound techniques.

  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
