National Workforce have partnered with a global leader in sustainable packaging. An exciting opportunity has become available for a Finishing Machine Operator on a Full -Time basis, located in Dandenong South.

The Role

  • Machine operation, including console set up and adjustments.
  • Responsible for fault finding and replacing reels (manual lifting involved).
  • Feeding and re-stacking cardboard, checking palletisation information and stack finished product onto loadmaster.
  • Taping and inserting die cutter templates.
  • Removing faulty product, clearing blockages, and resolving breakdowns.
  • Data Entry

The Offer

  • Full Time position with full training provided.
  • The role has a two-week rotation roster set up. Two weeks on day shift and two weeks on afternoon shift.
  • Monday to Friday roster plus overtime.
  • Career progression and advancement opportunities
  • Family Day events sponsored by the company.

The Ideal Candidate

  • You will have Monday to Friday availability.
  • Be able to work upwards to 10 hours a day.
  • Have excellent time management skills.
  • Commitment to working with a career and progression mind set.
  • Ability to do day AND afternoon shifts on a two-week rotational basis.
  • Strong team player.

You will be required to undergo a criminal history check and pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
