Where and how you can work

Our main base is in Sydney, with additional locations in Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide. You have the flexibility to work from the office, home, or a mix of both.

What you'll be doing in this role

  • Apply a mix of design and software development skills to shape the future of content interaction in Canva.
  • Creatively tackle challenges to craft exceptional customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with Product Designers and researchers to enhance user experiences.
  • Work with engineers to ensure seamless transition of work into production and enhance testing capabilities.
  • Create documentation and processes for team efficiency.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the growth of the Creative Technology field.

You're a great fit if you have

  • A portfolio showcasing front-end technology-based interaction design work.
  • Proven experience in delivering high-quality interactive experiences with a strong coding and creativity passion.
  • Over 6 years of experience in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JS, and React for prototyping.
  • Experience collaborating with various stakeholders to drive innovative solutions.
  • Ability and interest in adopting new technologies and exploring novel applications.
  • Bonus points for familiarity with back-end services, data, and AI prototyping.

About the Creative Technology team

Join our Creative Technology Team – a close-knit group of tech-savvy creatives collaborating closely with Designers, Marketers, and Engineers.

You'll create quick prototypes, internal tools, and interactive experiences for events and marketing, pushing boundaries with code.
