The Coordinator Immunisation will lead the daily operation and delivery of a range of immunisation programs including infant sessions, workplaces, community public sessions and mobile outreach services ensuring they are timely and accessible for community. You will provide strategic leadership and oversight of the Immuniusation program, leading the Senior Nurse, Immunisation Administration Program Supervisor and the wider immunisation team in the delivery of high quality services and programs to community.

As part of the Child & Family Health Leadership Team, the Coordinator Immunisation will contribute to strategic outcomes and drive operation efficiencies to ensure the provision of quality, compliant and responsive services to the community. The role will also work with a large range of diverse stakeholders to ensure immunisation services are supporting the health and wellbeing of the community.

About you
You will have sound knowledge of immunisation pragrams and requirements within a Local Government setting, including relevant legislation and data privacy requirements.

Demonstrated experience in all day to day operations of delivering community immunisation sessions including managing supplies and ensuring maintenance of vaccine cold chain management.

Experience in managing a high performing team, overseeing clinical practice, whilst also balancing the needs of the organisational and team requirements.

Excellent customer focus skills, with a demonstrated ability to sustain and grow partnerships and work in collaboration with stakeholders to deliver best service outcomes for community and council.
