Salary Details: Academic Level A ($78,499 to $101, % super + excellent benefits

The Role: As an Associate Lecturer, you play a significant role at the Australian Maritime College. Your duties include conducting lectures, tutorials, practical classes, workshops, and field excursions both on-campus and online. You will prepare resources for face-to-face and online delivery to ensure students are well-equipped for various career options and direct pathways into the workforce. Establishing strong links within the University and the broader community, you make a valuable contribution towards achieving strategic objectives.

Requirements:

  • A Master less than 45m near coastal Certificate of Competency or higher with relevant industry experience
  • A Marine Engine Driver Grade 2 near coastal Certificate of Competency or higher with relevant industry experience
  • Ability to deliver training using innovative methods, conduct curriculum, and assess student progress
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in vocational training, hold TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent), and work effectively in a team
