Vocational Trainer

About the Role:

  • Provide coaching, training and support to participants to achieve educational or employment outcomes;
  • Ensure all participants are engaged in activities that focus on training, employment or personal development; and
  • Build relationships and network with employers, stakeholders, training providers and community links


Experience in delivering vocational training or developing apprentices will be highly valued and a demonstrated capacity to build relationships and networks with employers and other stakeholders to support young people to gain entry into the bricklaying and construction field.


About You:

  • An understanding of the Australian Governments Core Skills for Work Developmental Framework
  • Experience with competencybased training in foundation skills and preemployment training

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Qualification or trade certificate in a relevant area
  • Demonstrated relevant Industry experience and currency
  • When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
