We're excited to offer you a unique chance to become highly skilled in the poultry industry. If you have just completed your Bachelors' Degree in Animal Husbandry or Animal Science (or have relevant prior experience), this is the perfect next step for you.

As an Incubation Technician based at our state-of-the-art hatchery in Goulburn, you will support the Senior Incubtation Technician and the Incubation Supervisor to develop and implement effective incubation practices for poultry breeding.

This will involve technical support, data collection, and assisting in controlled breeding experiments to optimize embryonic development and hatch rates in alignment with Aviagen breeder standards. Specifically this will include:

• Forecast flock hatches, adjust incubation plans to meet customer orders, and monitor facility equipment.
• Understand, collate, and record data on incubation and sets, including hatch windows, temperatures, co2 levels, 10-day candling, hatch breakouts, and egg hygiene.
• Identify and address issues in preparation, incubation, and hatch outcomes to ensure continuous improvement in production.
