As we embark on the next stage of our ambitious growth plan, we are currently recruiting for a Finished Artist to join our Design team based at our head office in Preston.
    About the role
  • The primary focus for this role is to prepare finished art for marketing solutions that meet the communication needs of our multiple company brands. In doing so, the Finished Artist will support the Team Leader and Deisgn Manager in the delivery of catalogue development, digital communications, print publications and marketing collateral.
  • More specifically, this role will
  • Prepare accurate and highquality finished art and pressready material that meets the specific needs of our range of corporate portfolio brands
  • Assist the Team Leader in the production of design, through to print and final preparation
  • Follow design team process, using software and tools to create material (from design layout through to finished artwork) in consultation with Team Leaders/Marketing
  • Liase with Marketing and or Team Leader to gain feedback and resolve any design issues
  • Prepare finished art for print and website layouts and event activations
  • Foster highly effective relationships with other staff and stakeholders and contribute positively to our Design team.
  • Assist the Design Manager and/or Team Leader on depatment based projects and new initiatives

About you

  • To be successful in this busy role, you will need:
  • A Diploma or Degree-level qualification in Design or Visual Communication
  • Demonstrated experience in as similar design role, preferably within the retail sector
  • Intermediate to advanced level skills using Adobe Crative Cloud
  • Work off templates and libraries to create material as advised
  • Establish and maintain positive and professional relationships with coworkers
  • Manage their time and workload to meet deadlines and produce highquality and accurate work that shows outstanding attention to detail
  • Use their initiative to solve problems as and when they arise
  • Work as part of a team, but also remain selfmotivated and diligent when working solo
  • Maintain a positive and flexible approach to their work.
  • The successful applicant must also return a satisfactory National Criminal History check outcome._
