About the role:
The role of Registrar works within the Mission and Mission in Action of HammondCare to ensure that medical clinical care is provided to outpatients, under the supervision of the Specialist-in-charge.
This is a fixed-term, part-time opportunity 19 hours a week from 5 Feb 2024 to 2 Feb 2025, based at Greenwich Hospital.
Essence of the role:
- Liaise with other members of the multidisciplinary team in providing patient care
- Maintain an appropriate standard of personal professionalism at all times and in all activities undertaken
- Implement a personal learning program for the term in conjunction with their Specialist Supervisor
About You:
- Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare's Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action
- Medical Registration by the Medical Board of Australia
- Primary Medical degree, eligible for Medical Board registration, and a minimum of two years supervised practice as an RMO
- Competence in the individual specialty area is expected to be consistent with the level of training and professional development stage attained by the individual occupying the position
- Strong administrative and computer skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Empathy and patience.
